Ox Pasture Hall is set in a stunning part of the country and has really beautiful grounds. The outside of the building is really pretty and chocolate box like. The venue mixes really pretty grounds with an old fashioned building and a blend of modern mixed with old fashioned interiors

The Priory House and the Oriental Brewhouse – the Georgian wedding venue, just outside of Newark

Close to Newark on Trent, on the border of Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. The Priory House and the Oriental Brewhouse is just off the A1 between Newark and Grantham in Long Bennington

Priory House is a very different venue and suits an eclectic taste. Don’t let this put you off, Priory House is full of unique interesting features and fascinating quirks. The gardens are beautiful, and the owners – Carol and Roger are an absolute delight. For a smaller intimate wedding, this venue has a really great comfortable family feel. Carol Lee is a fountain of knowledge with all things fashion, and especially wedding dresses!

The venue is a delight to shoot at, with interest around all corners. The interior of Priory is finished with imagination and opulence. While the building is Edwardian, the interior is a kaleidoscope of colour and art. In fact – if you are a fun arty couple, this venue pretty much is a must see

The gardens are interesting and pretty and make a super backdrop for wedding photography. This is ideal for really dreamy candid wedding photographs outside.

At a venue like thins I am aiming to include the interest from the décor and surroundings in with the feelings and emotions from the day. That fits in perfectly with my style of shooting – which is very un-obtrusive, yet observational

A really picturesque Lincolnshire wedding venue

Close to Market Rasen, Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Hull Elsham Hall is just off the M180, and close to the Humber Bridge

Elsham Hall is a lovely venue, with all of the beautifully fragrant lavender in the courtyards through to the beautiful rustic barn it is perfect for a wedding. As a wedding photographer Elsham Hall is great, it offers a lovely backdrop to your wedding photographs. The blend of environments – the courtyards, the trees, the grounds and fields, the buildings is a really nice mix, and we can use this effectively in your wedding photography. Elsham Hall has a really nice calm relaxed feel to it. This is important for a wedding, and it will really show in the photographs

The interior of Elsham Hall – where you have your reception – is cosy and pretty. It wouldn’t be described as grand, – it is really very rustic, and has an authentic country feel to it. What is nice is that they haven’t gone too modern with the feel. The balance is very good

The grounds are very expansive and mixed between gardens and rural. This is ideal for really romantic candid wedding photographs outside. Often the bride and groom will escape from the wedding party and go for a walk in the grounds. I take this opportunity to take some natural, candid, relaxed yet stunning wedding photographs.

The venue is big enough for me to work at a distance, and really capture feelings and emotions – and most of the time, you will not even be aware of me. That fits in perfectly with my style of shooting – which is very un-obtrusive
